WWOZ has been on the road with you for years: keeping you groovin' on your car stereo or streaming from your smart phone, and proudly emblazoned on your bumper. Now WWOZ is partnering with the Charitable Adult Rides & Services (CARS) to offer a new way for our listeners to become a Guardian of the Groove and support our mission of bringing New Orleans music to the universe!

to donate your car to WWOZ
Car donations are a quick & easy way to convert unwanted vehicles into cash for WWOZ. By working with the CARS, things are kept simple for both you and the station. You make a phone call and sign your car away when the CARS picks it up. After about 30 days you will receive a letter informing you of the sale price and the corresponding charitable donation tax deduction.
All WWOZ has to do is let listeners know about this snazzy new way of supporting the station, and we get a check in the mail after your car sells! The CARS takes care of everything else, enabling us to keep focusing on the programming you love.
Many of our friends in public radio have recommended the CARS to us because they specialize in working with stations like ours. Be sure to check out the FAQs for more info on this process.
Your donation will help fund our work in the community and support the music we all love so much! Ready to go? You can either follow the link below, or pick up the phone and call Charitable Adult Rides & Services at 1-855-WWOZ-123 (1-855-9969-123) to connect with an operator.
