Upcoming Shows

Since shortly after Hurricane Katrina, drummer Gene Harding has been hosting the Monday Night Super Jam on Frenchmen Street — originally as a way to keep tabs on which musicians were back (or still) in town after the storm.

On Monday, September 27, WWOZ will broadcast the jam live from The Maison, featuring "Rue Fiya!" with Gene Harding, Zena Moses, Matthew Clark, William Repholz, and C.R. Gruver. Many exciting special guests will be performing with the group, including Mem Shannon, Jeremy Phipps, Winston Turner, Mario Abney and Charleston Perkins.

This live broadcast is sponsored by LetsBeTotallyClear.org, so the venue will be totally smoke-free for the evening, providing a healthy environment for the musicians, staff and audience.
