Amanda Shaw dropped by the Cajun Zydeco show at WWOZ today and played some new material she's working on: traditional cajun French songs. She also shared news of the launch of La Joie d’Louisiane, which pays homage to Louisiana culture and heritage. The event series will launch on Sunday, March 24 with performances every Sunday during Lent until Easter Sunday at Ye Olde College Inn.
