Music applications for the 2016 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival are due Thursday, October 1. Online applications are available here: http://www.nojazzfest.com/info/2016-music-submission/.

If you prefer to do things the old-fashioned way, the festival producers will still accept hard-copy applications via mail or in-person drop off. Press kits should include a recording, bio, photo, press clippings, and contact information, including email address. The address is:

The mission of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is to promote, preserve, perpetuate, and encourage the music, arts, culture, and heritage of Louisiana. Approximately 85-90% of bands presented at Jazz Fest are active members of the Louisiana music community. The next Jazz Fest will run between Friday, April 22 and Sunday, May 1, 2016.
