Born in England and bred in New Orleans, Jon Cleary combines soulful vocals and masterful piano skills with his sharp sense of groove. A frequent solo performer, he also performs with The Absolute Monster Gentlemen and his new acoustic trio Piano, Bass & Drums, as well as Bonnie Raitt and John Scofield.

Cleary has released five recordings to date including his latest, a live recording from Sydney, Australia, called "Mo Hippa." Cleary has a long list of recording credits with artists such as Taj Mahal, Keb Mo, India Arie, and Ryan Adams.

With his new trio, Piano, Bass & Drums, Cleary uses an acoustic format as a vehicle for his varied compositions embodying the flavors of New Orleans Funk, Classic R&B, and tropical rhythms. The lineup features Cleary on piano, Doug Belote on drums, and Matt Perrine and James Singleton alternating gigs on upright bass.

Lost Bayou Ramblers

The Lost Bayou Ramblers are: Andre Michot (lap Steel & accordian), Louis Michot (fiddle & vocals), Chris Courville (drums), Cavan Carruth (guitar & vocals), Alan LaFleur (upright bass).

Growing up in Pilette, Louisiana, Louis and Andre Michot were immersed in roots Cajun music from birth, primarily since their father and uncles were already touring the world playing traditional songs. In 1999, the brothers matched up with Chris DeShazo's bass-stomp drumming style, Alan LeFleur's thumping upright bass and Cavan Carruth's chunky rhythm guitar, and the band began to play their "deep swamp beat" around Acadiana and eventually all over the United States. Dozens of original songs complement their vast Cajun repertoire of hundreds of early accordion dancehall tunes, pre-century fiddle tunes, and Cajun swing.
