WWOZ will broadcast one of the Crescent City's hottest bands, Groovesect, live from Le Bon Temps Roulé in the Uptown section of New Orleans. The band blends funk, rock, and jazz for a high-powered show thanks to its stellar musicians: Danny Abel (guitar), Nick Krawitz (keyboards), Tommy Sciple (bass), Colin Davis (drums), Khris Royal (saxophone), and Alfred "Uganda" Roberts (percussion).
