WWOZ will be broadcasting live from the 2nd Annual “My Darlin’ New Orleans” Auction and Celebrity Gala benefiting The Roots of Music and the New Orleans Musicians’ Clinic and Assistance Foundation, sponsored by HBO's Treme.

Musicians to perform include: Glen David Andrews, John Boutte, Washboard Chaz, Tom McDermott, Aurora Nealand, Matt Perrine, Paul Sanchez, the Pfister Sisters and The Roots of Music Marching Crusaders

The Auction and Celebrity Gala will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Generations Hall, 310 Andrew Higgins Drive, New Orleans, LA. This unique red carpet event will feature a live and silent auction, an opportunity to mingle with the actors, producers and crew of Treme, specialty dishes prepared by local celebrity chefs and performances by some of New Orleans finest musicians.
