Sousaphonist Kirk Joseph leads his latest band, Funkifryed, in a live performance at WWOZ's studio on Monday, March 29, during the New Orleans Music Show with Murf Reeves. Kirk was one of the founding members of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band in 1977, and he has been a member of the Treme Brass Band and Forgotten Souls Brass Band.

Funkifryed's all-star lineup includes CR Gruver on piano & keyboards and Aron Lambert (of Juice) on drums, as well as a special guest hornplayer.
