NOCCA-trained modern jazz act Bridge Trio plays opens tonight (June 12) for Don Byron's New Gospel Quintet at 92Y Tribeca in downtown New York City, part of the WBGO concert series The Checkout: Live.
WWOZ will carry a live feed from NPR Music tonight from 7-8pm CDT.
Which is to say, we'll be airing only the Bridge Trio's set.
