The 11th annual Bayou Boogaloo is coming May 20-22! This free 3-day family-friendly music and arts festival was started in 2005 and is held on the banks of Bayou St. John. It features live music, a huge variety of food vendors, an arts market, and athletics. There is a kids tent with all sorts of kid-friendly activities and performers, as well.

Performers at this year's festival include The Wailers, Irma Thomas, Lowrider Band, George Porter Jr. & His Runnin' Pardners, Buckwheat Zydeco, Lost Bayou Ramblers, CC Adcock & the Lafayette Marquis, Seth Walker, Lynn Drury, Gravity A f/John Paul Carmody, Darcy Malone & the Tangle, Roar!, Nolatet, Truth Universal, Billy Iuso & Restless Natives, Motel Radio, Soul Brass Band, Robin Barnes, New Orleans Songbird, Muevelo, Rory Danger & the Danger Dangers, The Quickening, Debbie Davis & the Mesmerizers, New Orleans Mystics, Creole String Beans, Red Hot Brass Band, Mason Ruffner, Dwayne Dopsie & the Zydeco Hellraisers, Big Pearl & the Fugitives of Funk, Singing Beats, The Greyhawk Band, Rampart Revival, Ron Hotstream & the Midcity Drifters, The Robert Pate Project, Confetti Park Players, Upturn Arts Ensemble Divine Dance Depot, and The Trombone Shorty Academy.
