The 2016 Freret Street Festival is happening on Saturday, April 2 from 11am-6pm. Free to attend, the festival has three stages with local music, plus over 150 local vendors, a food court, and pet adoption stations. It runs the length of Freret Street between Soniat and Napoleon. This year's full music lineup is below.
Vendors are coming with a wide variety of wares including painting, sculpture, clothing, jewelry, vintage items, used CDs and books, and more. Local non-profits will also be present sharing information about their work and opportunities to get involved.
WWOZ featured the Freret Street Festival on "New Orleans All The Way Live" back in 2013. Check out the sounds, sights, tastes, and atmosphere of this neighborhood fest at the link: http://www.wwoz.org/programs/new-orleans-all-way-live/show-205-freret-street
