It's kind of hard to describe Brass Bed, an indie rock band from Lafayette. They describe themselves as "psych-pop auteurs" on their YouTube channel, and their Facebook page, lists the following influences: "Busted amps, analog synths, The Kinks, pretty, noisy, The Band, Television".
Late last month, Brass Bed braved the snows to visit the NPR music offices in DC for a Tiny Desk Concert. The set list, featuring mostly songs from last year's The Secret Will Keep You album, includes "Yellow Bursts Of Age", "Cold Chicory", "Please Don't Go", and "Have To Be Fine".
