Earlier this month, the duo announced the release of their highly anticipated joint album on May 5 on Concord Records. It will be a mix of new material and covers of artists like John Mayer and The Who, and features guest appearances from Bonnie Raitt, Joe Walsh, Sheila E. and Lizz Wright. "He’s a stellar human being, just a brilliant man," Keb’ says of Taj Mahal, who first saw him play at a high school assembly. "Making this record was a really big deal for me."
