"Doing those two albums were some of the most spiritually rewarding times I've had in my career," says Willie Tee. "What makes a great Mardi Gras song? Funk. New Orleans funk. You get some good funky musicians behind you; that would make a great Mardi Gras song."

"I love to mask Indian and that's the bottom line," says Dollis.
